Snow in New Zealand
The first ever recorded snowfall in New Zealand’s Auckland snowed in july 27 in 1939 since the records have been kept (since year 1853). The only other time Auckland has seen snow is August 15th 2011, when the snowfall was enought to create drifts.
Aucklands weathers is often described as a warm coastal climate without extremes. Basically summers are usually humid and warm and winters mild and damp. Rain is experienced in the winter months June, July and August. Winter months temperature avarage is 14 celsius. Auckland weather can change quickly, so often one day can contain all four seasons.
